Condon Park Project
This project is to remove invasive species, restore wildlife habitat, improve forest health and create access through installation of walking paths and fencing around Peabody creek.
Shown here are before and after pictures. This project consisted of vegetation clearing, tree removal, limbing, pruning and ivy removal.
Due to the overgrowth of the invasive species in this portion of the park, these acres were not accessible by the public.
The benefits of this new open area of the park include; improve wildlife habitat, improve the forest stand within the park for fuels reduction, forest health, and to help stabilize erosion of Peabody Creek.
